Welcome to my online portfolio. Here you will find sample of different types of my work, including technical writing, instructional videos, marketing and digital content, and academic writing.

Technical Writing

Good technical communicators are able to effectively communicate complex information to a given audience through a variety of mediums. Often, the medium is written manuals or video trainings. Here are two examples of written manuals I compiled after working with experts. In the first example, I worked with machine operators, line supervisors, and mechanics to record daily routines and best practices for the Paloma. This manual was designed primarily for operator use.

The second manual was designed for the mechanics. I worked with a retired operator and several seasoned mechanics to record mechanical best practices and important fixes to keep the machines on this entire line running smoothly.

Instructional Video

I have almost twenty years of experience designing curriculum for the writing classroom, but this video illustrates my ability to design workplace-related content in Articulate Storyline. Please note that when saving a Storyline file as an MP4 it removes the interactive elements. These elements are present in the original file at timestamps 0:23, 0:36, 0:51, and 1:12.

Marketing and Digital Content

While marketing has not been my primary focus, I have supported various businesses with their marketing efforts through branding, video compilation, social media, and WordPress website development.

Academic Writing

I have extensive experience both writing and presenting for academic audiences locally and nationally. Here is a small sampling of my published academic writing.
